Football Tournaments

 

Each year the Community scheme  hold tournaments for young children to experience the thrill of playing on the pitch at Kingfield.

 

Once the season is over Year 4 Boys, Year 4, 5 & 6 Girls are invited to take part in what now has become annual events on the schools calendar and are hotly contested with a cup being presented to the winning school. In addition winners, runner up and semi finalists all receive a trophy, but no one goes home empty handed as everyone receives a medal and a ticket to a Woking FC home match.

 

Added to the programme four years ago was a tournament for local special needs schools. This has proved to be very popular with over 100 children enjoying a morning of fun games , there are no winners or losers in this event schools receive a trophy and all participate receive a trophy, gift and a ticket to a WFC home match.
